Your website hosting fees wil be paid separately from  your design fees, and will be paid directly to the hosting provider. You can expect to pay no more than $200.00 per year – probably closer to $100.00 per year – for your hosting service (and often much less than that).

Hosting Your Website

When we set up your website, the first step will be to register your domain – or website address – if you do not yet have one. Once that’s done, we’ll need to arrange for your website hosting. This will, typically, be done all in one step at Powweb.

If you already have a domain name registered with another registrar (such as GoDaddy.com), you can leave your domain with that registrar and host with Powweb.

Many designers will set up and pay for the registration and hosting, then charge you a value added fee for the service. We prefer to walk you through setting up and paying for the hosting service yourself. This keeps you in the driver’s seat, and makes you aware of recurring costs.
