The Fugitive Poets (*)

The Fugitive Poets – The Fugitive Poets are a regional Folk/Americana band. Their original website was designed years ago, flash based, and impossible to update. As I am a big fan of this wonderful group of musicians, I contacted them about developing a website that would actually be useful to them and their fans. I was able to use design elements from the old site to accentuate this one and to keep a sense of continuity. Integration of tools for streaming audio and video and a schedule for their upcoming gigs gave them a website that is useful to fans old and new, and can help the band to grow its market share.

West Feliciana Parish Library (*)

West Feliciana Parish Library – The West Feliciana Parish Library was in need of an attractive and practical yet cost effective web presence that it could use to share library information and resources with its patrons. Bonnie Blue Enterprises was able to provide this much needed service to the WFP Library and to the citizens of West Feliciana Parish. As a growing and dynamic parish, West Feliciana deserves to showcase its great parish services in the most effective manner possible. Bonnie Blue has helped to make that a reality. Useful feature such as Library related news, an upcoming events calendar, and the Library card catalog are available at this website!

Songbird Music School

Songbird Music School – The Songbird Music School will beheld in July of 2012, in St. Francisville, Louisiana. This is perhaps one of most subtle websites we’ve done, style-wise. All of the information one would need to evaluate and participate in the Songbird Music School is available and easily accessible. Nothing is ever more than two clicks away on this website (as should generally be the case). A publicity tool like this is indispensable for promoting any kind of public event.

St. Francisville Chamber of Commerce (*)

St. Francisville Chamber of Commerce – Bonnie Blue Enterprises is a member of the St. Francisville Chamber of Commerce. Previously, the Chamber’s website was managed by an out-of-town firm. What we call “long-distance love affairs” are always difficult. An out-of-towner can’t understand the unique character of your business or organization, nor the nuances of your target market. We have worked to build the Chamber website into a resource that will be useful to Chamber members and the community of the Felicianas.

Woodhaven

Woodhaven Development – Woodhaven is a real estate development on Highway 61, north of St. Francisville. The developers wanted something that would convey the rural, woodsy character of the development, be easy to navigate, and would help interested people learn more about their real estate development.

Jack Owens, DDS

Jack Owens, DDS – Owens Family Dentistry is located in Zachary, Louisiana. Dr. Owens is a caring dentist with a solid local reputation. He needed a website that would let people know about his office and services.

JA Wheeler & Assoc.

J.A. Wheeler & Associates – J.A. Wheeler Contractors in St. Francisville needed a completely new website. We used their own promotional literature as a basis for the design, taking from it Wheeler’s branding, the color scheme, the background, and the fonts. This website fits in perfectly with the company’s branding, making the website and the company universally recognizable.

Arts For All (*)

Arts For All – Arts For All is a West Feliciana Parish NPO, focused on promoting the arts and providing art education and opportunities for participation to the public. Like most local NPOs, they did not have loads of money, but needed a quality website to promote their organization and spread news about their activities. Bonnie Blue Enterprises worked with them to provide an attractive, useful, well designed professional website. We based the site’s design and color scheme on the organization’s logo, toning down the original vivid colors a bit. The site features organizational information, profiles of local artists, and a news and events feed. It is maintained by a volunteer member of Arts For All who was taught to use the content management back end by Bonnie Blue’s staff.

Yellow Leaf Arts Festival (*)

Yellow Leaf Arts Festival – The Yellow Leaf Arts Festival, a project of Arts For All, is an annual event held during the last weekend of October. The festival operated for years without a website. This was a real handicap in today’s economy. Bonnie Blue Enterprises rose to the occasion and provided this fine venue for advertising the festival and facilitating participation.

Jenny Mills Studio (*)

Jenny Mills Studio – Jenny Mills is an artist, based in northern East Baton Rouge Parish. Jenny wanted a website that would be attractive and easy to navigate, but that would offer her the chance to display her many and varied works. She uses this site both for sharing her work with galleries and potential clients, and for selling her works online.

The Day War Stopped

The Day The War Stopped – Every summer, the town of St. Francisville recognizes a unique event in its history. The Day The War Stopped commemorates this event. The event was sorely in need of an attractive, well designed and easily navigable website. Bonnie Blue Enterprises was happy to provide it.

Birdman Coffee

Birdman Coffee – Birdman Coffee is a St. Francisville Institution. A local watering hole and breakfast cafe, a venue for live music, and an art gallery, this website provides advertising and a place for the management to disseminate news about events. The website is maintained by the cafe management.

Nomadic Peoples Network (*)

Nomadic Peoples Network – The Nomadic Peoples Network is a Christian ministry that focuses on advocating for nomadic people groups around the world. Headed by The Institute for Nomadic Studies, the organization came to us looking for an attractive, well organized website that would allow them to share resources. The budget was tight, so simplicity and economy were important, but without sacrificing quality nor presentation.

Lake At The Bluffs (*)

The Lake At The Bluffs – This real estate development in eastern West Feliciana Parish is under development and the management is using this site to share information about its progress. The site is maintained by the real estate agency.

Dr. Julian Zugg

Dr. Julian Zugg – Julian Zugg works with a seminary that provides Internet based instruction for people around the world. Many of Dr. Zugg’s students live in developing countries and use very slow dial-up Internet connections, so this website had to be simple to navigate and very easy on bandwidth usage.
